Our district teaches to the National Standards.
We have created 7 core abilites that we focus our teaching on. LPS VISUAL ART CORE ABILITIES (LPS ART OBJECTIVES) 1. UNDERSTANDING AND APPLYING PROCESSES, MEDIA (ART MATERIALS), AND TECHNIQUE. Professionally, I believe in inspiring kids to be unique and different. I love to be messy and let kids explore. In order to do that, I use Love and Logic, as well as Character Counts, and BIST in my classroom.
